STREET TEAM EXTRAORDINAIRE!

Just in time for the ho-ho-holidays, the Hudson Square Business Improvement District enlisted the help of our army of singing elves to increase awareness surrounding their Pedestrian Safety Managers, who help keep the neighborhood safe and alleviate traffic year-round!

GoGORILLA’s team of 12 elves, dressed in red and green hats, scarves, gloves and branded aprons, handed out holiday coupon booklets containing discounts to 14 local Hudson Square retailers, played games and danced around with kids and adults of all ages, sang custom rewrites of common carols, including hit lines such as “Oh the traffic outside is frightful, but the guards are so delightful...” and “Elves on Varick Street, making spirits bright...” all while helping busy New Yorkers safely cross the street after a long day at work. The merry elves kept all of Hudson Square smiling and even won over a few scrooges in the process. It was an Elfin’ good time!
